How do you make chocolate chip cookies without chocolate chips?

I know it seems like a dumb question, but I HATE chocolate chips, but i love the way that the cookie itself tastes…can i just use the normal ingredients on the recipe and just skip the chocolate chips?

So just omit them. They are not crucial to the baking process like baking soda is. If you want replace them with raisins, or whatever. That cookie was actually an accident anyway. The creator thought the chips would melt and make a chocolate cookie.

Yea, but they probably won’t taste the same without the chocolate. But give it a try, it might taste pretty good!

Yes you can leave them out. You could also add other flavors of chicps, such as peanut butter or cinamon, or add m&m’s or even nuts or dried fruit.

Simple go to the store buy a chocochip cookie mix most of the time the choc’s are separte but u might wanna ask or sneek a peek in the book to make sure….no one cares if u get cauht (wich u wont prob) just say well im not gonna buy this if…etc….lol good luck!

You can make the recipe without the chocolate chips, but the taste isn’t quite the same, I know, because I’ve done it myself, because I don’t really like the chocolate chips, either. I don’t like walnuts in mine, either. What I do now is I use 1/2 to 1/3 less chocolate chips than the recipe calls for – that way, they still have the flavor, but it isn’t overwhelming – you only end up with a few chocolate chips in each cookie and that same great taste. I also find they are tastier with margarine(not spread) instead of butter.

when you make the cake mix and it says to add the chocolate chips,Dont! you will just have the chocolate biscuits.

hope this helps
