6-8 ears fresh, tender roasting corn
1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
butter
salt and pepper
Preheat over to 450 degrees F. Pull down corn husks to remove silk and soak for 10 minutes in enough sugared water to cover. Replace husks and close with a twisting motion or tie closed. Place the ears in the oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes. Remove husks prior to serving, and serve with butter and salt and pepper.
OR
4 medium ears corn
melted butter
1/4 cup chopped roasted red peppers
Remove husks and silks from corn. Place each ear of corn on a piece of heavy duty aluminum foil, and drizzle with a little butter. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon chopped roasted red pepper on each ear of corn. Roll foil lengthwise around corn and twist ends. Bake at 450° for 25 minutes. Corn on the cob with roasted red peppers serves 4.
oR
12 ears fresh corn
SEASONED BUTTER:
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 450 degrees or prepare coals in grill.
Remove husks and silk from corn just before cooking; rinse ears. Spread seasoned butter on corn and place each ear on a piece of heavy aluminum foil. Wrap securely. Bake or grill 4-6 inches above glowing coals 20-25 minutes.
Other seasonings you may want to try for the seasoned butter are:
1/2 tsp. garlic salt to 1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon hickory-smoked salt to 1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon barbecue spice to 1/2 cup butter.
Spread butter on corn, salt and pepper, wrap in foil in cook at 375 until done. I am not sure how long it will take but at least 30 minutes.
It comes out very well if you microwave it. You can rinse the ears (the moisture helps it steam) wrap in saran wrap and cook for 2-3 minutes an ear. In the oven, I would place the ear on a piece of foil, add a pad of butter, seal it up and place them on a cookie sheet, bake for 15-20 minutes at 350. Don’t salt and pepper until after, it may toughen the corn.
I take the shucked corn, rub it with butter, sprinkle with salt and pepper and then wrap in aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes – comes out great every time.

I AHEV NO IDEA!
dont feel bad im really dumb
on a tin sheet of foil, drizzle some olive oil, add the corn in the middle, get one clove of garlic, put it in the middle a or the sides(u can use 2)add butter(2 heaping tablespoons of butter.just dump it there, add on basil leaf, and wrap it(just like a gift, make sure you have a whole, and blow , so the foil could “breath a little” just make sure ur wrapping is really tight.
Cook and place in the oven for about 15-20 minutes.(350)
p.s.YOU COULD ALSO DO THIS WITH BABY CARROTS, TRY THIS WITH THE CORN…KIDS AND ADULTS WILL LOVE IT!
