How can I make Ramen Noodles in the microwave?

How can I cook the Ramen noodles from a plastic bag in the microwave? Should I heat up the water with noodles and spice in it? or should I do water first or how?

Also please give me some suggestions what I can throw into Ramen to make it taste good.

This is for me when I go to work. I want to save money and make something really quick.

How to Make Ramen Noodles in the Microwave

*Break the ramen noodles while the bag is still sealed or leave it in a block to have long noodles.
*Put the noodles into a bowl. Fill the bowl with water until the water reaches just to the top of the noodles
*Microwave it for three minutes.
*After the microwave beeps, don’t take it out! You’ll burn yourself. Just let it sit for three minutes in the closed microwave. If you must take the noodles out immediately use oven mitts or some other heat protection.
*Take the noodles out and pour in the flavor packet (if included). Stir noodles until flavoring dissolves.

Tips:
*Let the noodles soak for a few minutes in the flavor before eating. They’ll be plumper that way.
*You can put in the flavor packet before microwaving. This will give the noodles more time to soak up the flavor.
*For a sweeter meal, cook two packs, drain them when you’re done. Add the sesoning, a quarter cup of milk, and a tablespoon of butter.
*Microwave power will vary so you may need to adjust the time.

you put the noodles in the bowl and then fill it up with enough water so they are barely submerged in it then microwave for 4 minutes. Works everytime. you dont even have to worry about measuring the water. i usually then drain all the water and add the spice mix but you can leave the water. enjoy

Yes you can cook them. Place 2/3 the recommended water in a MW safe container, add the noodles, being sure to moisten them thoroughly with the water. Cover tightly with plastic wrap & poke a small hole in the top. Microwave on high for 4-6 minutes, or until the noodles are soft.

The way I eat Ramen is by draining off all the water, throwing in a pat of butter, a BIG scoop (2 tbs) of sour cream and 1/2 the flavor packet & stir. DELISH.

put some warm water in a bowl with the noodles and spice. put it in the microwave for.. 3-4 minutes depending on the original temp of the water.

if you want an asian taste,, you can throw in some bok choy or i throw in left over chicken. basically anything that is leftover is pretty good.

I put the seasoning pack, shredded vegetables, precooked meat, noodle block, and water in a loosely covered plastic container and nuke for 3 minutes. Afterwards use a fork to mix. yum!

IF ITS FOR WORK, GET YOURSELF A RE-SEALABLE CONTAINER (GLADWARE, ETC… I RECOMMEND THE “SANDWICH” SIZE CONTAINER). PUT THE NOODLES, SEASONING, AND ABOUT 1/2 CUP TO A CUP OF FROZEN VEGETABLES IN THE CONTAINER. WHEN ITS LUNCH TIME, FILL WITH WATER UNTIL 1/2 OF THE NOODLES ARE SUB-MERGED. MICROWAVE FOR 2 MINUTES, WITH THE LID ON BUT SLIGHTLY CRACKED OPEN. TAKE IT OUT AND QUICKLY STIR AND BREAK UP THE NOODLES…QUICKLY SEAL IT SHUT AND LET IT STEAM FOR ABOUT 3 MINUTES. THIS WILL ALLOW IT TO SOAK UP MOST OF THE WATER AND STEAM THE VEGETABLES WHILE MAKING THE NOODLES “FLUFFY”. THE KEY IS TO LET THE STEAM DO MOST OF THE COOKING AS OPPOSED TO THE HEAT OF THE MICROWAVE. IT’S REALLY QUICK AND REALLY CHEAP. YOU CAN EAT A WHOLE WEEKS WORTH OF LUNCHES FOR ABOUT $3…ITS REDICULOUS.

You got what you need to microwave it. I like to add dry shiitake mushrooms. Just soak them the night before and take them along to add to the noodles after you microwave.

OMG! I’m ADDICTED to Ramen! Its SO good! (thinks of ramen) O sweet Spicy Chicken Ramen. ? oh yeah. The question. Well, they make cups of Ramen that you can get at any store that sells ramen and simple follow directions. But i like the packaged ones better for some odd reason… And you can add ANYTHING (almost) In my Beef Ramen i put small chuncks of beef, eggs, and some Cayan Pepper. ♪Yummy Yummy in my Tummy. I got some Ramen in my Tummy♫ Um… Yeah Eggs are best with the meat flavored Ramen but its best plain for the Spicy one. Mushroom Flavored Ramen is best with some Chicken.

TIP: Mix, Match, find your best, and eat!

Health Tip: Soup is the Healthiest food in the world. Why? Because it has little or no fat! And low calories! But to make it more healthier (for the health freaks) have the soup home-made!
