HELP, Was this a healthy dinner?

I had turkey mince from tesco supermarket with a chilli con carni powder mix that I added to the turkey mince for flavour. Then I added chopped tin tomatoes and red kiney beans. I had this with a little salad I made including iceburge lettus, carrot, TINY bit of parmazan cheese( bout 10g),and unsalted mix raisens and nuts(raisens, almonds, sultanas, Brazils, hazlenuts, penuts). Was this healthy?

yes as long as you didnt use too much of the trail mix stuff. cuz peanuts are rather unhealthy and dried fruit (raisins) is pure sugar

PLEASE ANSWER MINE!

Yes. Don’t listen to people saying nuts are unhealthy because they are actually good for you.

Not really.

You should have skipped the powder mix as it is almost impossible to know what’s in that stuff.

fresh tomato would have been better than tinned tomato, kidney beans are good.

And it all depends how many nuts you used, a handful is good, anything more is excessive.

yezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz sir.

dinner this early?

It sounds like healthy food to me. Some of the issues with that meal might be with portion size. A lot of us tend to eat too much. Nuts are healthy, but eaten in excess can be fattening.

If you have an issue with sodium, you might want to be careful with those powdered seasoning mixes. If sodium isn’t a problem for you, I wouldn’t worry about that.

Iceberg lettuce has very little nutritional value. As long as you are eating other veggies, though, it’s fine.

In the end, one meal isn’t going to make or break you nutritionally. Even a day of eating badly shouldn’t derail your efforts to keep healthy. It’s all about balance.

Make sure you drink plenty of water. Pay attention to portion sizes. Get lots of variety. If you’re really serious about getting healthy, keep a food diary for a few weeks. Then get together with a nutritionist or dietician who can point out areas you can improve things.
