Does This Sound Like A Good Diet?

i’m 16, 5’2” and around 145 pounds. i planned out a diet on thedailyplate.com and i was wondering if it sounded safe and if i would lose weight if i went on it. i’d be getting around:
*1200 calories per day
*29g fat
*no cholesterol
*55g fiber
*84g protein

all of my protein would be from vegan sources like black beans, chickpeas, lentils, soy, etc. i also won’t be eating any kind of bread. so i guess it’s kinda like south beach phase 1.

i’ll also be taking a multivitamin every morning and i’ll try to drink at least 64oz of water each day. my only drinks will be water, crystal light, and one glass of soymilk each day.

oh, and i’ll be working out every day. about 45 minutes of aerobic ((treadmill, elliptical, stair step machine, etc)) and 30 minutes of weight training ((free weights and a bowflex)).

so yeah. is this healthy? is there anything i need to add/take away? how much weight will i lose? the south beach book says 14 pounds in 2 weeks…is that true??

thanks in advance!! y’all are loved.

Are you done growing taller, been the same height for 3 years? If not, your caloric intake should probably be 1500, not 1200. (You’d still lose weight on that.) Add more calcium, in pill form if you have no dietary source. (I take it you’re a vegan? I don’t know how they get calcium enough.)

If you can stick to this program of diet and exercise, you should see good results pretty rapidly without harming your health.

Yes sound good but are you having carbs? You need carbs to survive
How many grams are you having daily?
