Does nesquik syrup actually go bad if left out?
I have an opened bottle of strawberry nesquik syrup that I left out for about six weeks. The bottle says to keep it refrigerated once opened, but it smells fine.
Is the refrigeration actually necessary? Aren’t there a buttload of preservatives in the stuff that keep it from spoiling?
Thanks!

It’s fine, we don’t refrigerate ours and I’m alive.
