2/3 C (uncooked) rice
2C water

Trim all fat from chops & fry in oil until brown. Take up chops & drain off excess oil. Pour rice in a large skillet. Add water, seasonings & chops over rice. Add a layer of onions, tomatoes & corn. Once boiling, turn to low heat. Cover & simmer 30 min until rice is tender. If too dry, add a lil more water

Pork Chops With Honey And Herbs
4 pork chops
3 TB each honey, marjoram & thyme
sea salt ~kosher
black pepper
juice of 1/2 lemon

Warm the honey and brush each side of the pork chops with the honey.
Mix the two chopped herbs and coat the chops with them evenly.
Sprinkle the salt, pepper, and a little of the lemon onto the chops.
Broil for 5 minutes each side close to the heat, then a father 5 to 10 minutes (depending on thickness) away from the heat, on both sides.

Pork Tacos (the real stuff) – spicy!
No more Taco Bell Mush Meat, try these

2-5 lb. pork butt roast chopped into 1-2 inch cubes (slice up pork chops!)
1 lg. onion (peeled and quartered)
3 cloves garlic (rough chopped)
2 T Cumin
2 T Chili Powder
1 t each: salt & pepper
corn or flour tortillas

Put all ingredients in a crockpot. Cook on high about 2-3 hours then turn down to low for a few more. Meat is done when it falls apart when picked at with a fork. Shred meat with a fork and serve in tortillas with your favorite toppings. Leftover meat can be used in many other dishes like tamales, sopes, etc.

FRY THEM UP EASY SIMPLE. PUT THE SALT PEPPER AND THE SEASONING ON BEFORE YA COOKEM OR U CAN BAKEM LIKE THAT 350 OVEN FOR ABOUT 1 OR TILL THE JUICES RUN CLEAR.

I have one but it takes ketchup, apple cider vinegars and sugar ,its good with mashed or baked potatoes.

Take 1 c. of ketchup add 2TSP. of sugar and 1/2 cup vinegar.mix together pour into frying pan place pour chops on top. flip pork chops in sauce cover cook on med. heat for 15 Min’s. flip chops cook another 15 min”s continue to do this until done. It is really good.

Brown your pork chops.

Sprinkle them with salt and pepper, seasoning, and chopped onions and celery.

Cover them with 1 can of beer (or apple juice) and bake for 1 hour at 350.

Fry Pork Chops.

Make sauce in same pan. Put orange juice, or lime juice or any kind of citric you might have in the pan. Mix in a bit of dried ginger, or if you have canned or fresh, even better. Maybe a touch of mustard.

If you have some orange or apricot marmalade, mix it in too. And, you have a light tasty sauce.

If you have rice or mashed potatoes make them and put them on the side.

If you have applesauce add some cinnamon, serve on the side as well.

And Voila!

Put the heat on your frying pan and warm it up. Put a little oil in your pan and put ing the pork chops . Have the heat about medium high. Salt and pepper you port chops. Brown for about 5 minutes per side. Pour on a couple of cups of water, put on the lid, reduce heat to medium low and simmer for about 25 minutes. You could use cream of mushroom soup instead of water if you like that, but just put the soup on top of the chops

im not sure about the recipe…but i saw nigella lawson making it….she fried the pork chops with a little seasoning…and then she made a sauce with cream nd mustard…nd she had that with the pork chops nd some gnocchi…

Pork chops are so versitile you can do anything with them. Try one of these easy recipes: In a little olive oil (2-3 tablespoons) fry up green and red bell peppers (sliced vertically approx 1/2″ thick) and one (or 1/2 if it’s big) Vidalia onion (use reg. onion if you can’t get Vidalia). Add 1-2 large cloves of garlic smashed. Cook till soft but crisp. take out of pan. Add a drop more olive oil and fry up pork chops till done. Put chops on plate and put vege’s over them. Enjoy.

Super simple – marinate chops in plain soy sauce for about 15 min. – 1/2 hour before you grill or pan sear them. It doesn’t taste anywhere near as salty as it sounds.

PS: if youknow how to make chicken cacciatore. You can substitute the chicken for the pork chops. My families favorite.

Smothered Pork Chops

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons onion powder
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
4 pork chops, 3/4-inch thick, bone-in
1/4 cup olive oil
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup buttermilk
Chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley, for garnish
Put the flour in a shallow platter and add the onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper; mix with a fork to distribute evenly. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to remove any moisture and then dredge them in the seasoned flour; shaking off the excess.
Heat a large saute pan or cast iron skillet over medium heat and coat with the oil. When the oil is nice and hot, lay the pork chops in the pan in a single layer and fry for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the pan and add a little sprinkle of seasoned flour to the pan drippings. Mix the flour into the fat to dissolve and then pour in the chicken broth in. Let the liquid cook down for 5 minutes to reduce and thicken slightly. Stir in the buttermilk to make a creamy gravy and return the pork chops to the pan, covering them with the sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes until the pork is cooked through. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Just brown each side in a fry pan, then reduce heat.
You could dump baked beans or stewed tomatoes into pan.
Then let the whole thing simmer until cooked through.
You test the chops for clear juices when pierced with knife.
You can also make rice, use 1/2 cup per person,
double the amount of water, bring to boil,
reduce heat & cover, leave at least 20 minutes.
