Does adding artificial sweetener to hair dye eliminate the toxic smell side effects of the dye?
I add artificial sweetener to my hair dye that contains bleach to eliminate the toxic smell.
Does adding sweetener eliminate the toxic effects of the hair dye? Should I cover my dyed hair with the cap as long as the dye is processing to prevent the toxic effects from the smell? The instructions on the container doesn’t mention anything about adding sweetener – it is something I’ve seen hair stylists do.
