Do ground flax seeds relieve constipations or do I have to eat them whole?
I’ve been eating a daily amount of 3 tbsp. of whole flax seeds for quite a while and it was fantastic. My constipation was over. My question is- do gorund flax seeds have the same effect?

Ground flax seed is the only way your body can absorb or use them. If your taking them whole its pretty much all in your head and your making yourself go to the bathroom because they cannot be doing anything for your system. FLAX has to be ground.
you can try chia if your not wanting to grind. Chia seeds have more omega 3s and calcium and other minerals and never go bad from sitting out of the fridge.
Dr Oz turned me on to them.
Yes, I have heard to only eat flax seeds in the ground up form. However, I have used the ground flax seeds in so many recipes, so you can definitely start incorporating it into your diet.
