I imagine they all do since they’re all in the Meat & Alternative section of the Food Guide.
I’m not 100% on that though.
All of the ones I know of do, including kidney, pinto and garbanzo. This website is great for viewing nutritional breakdowns:
As long as the soil that the plants were grown in had some iron in it.
Iron is an essential nutrient because its use in hemoglobin. In food iron comes in two forms, heme and non-heme. Heme iron makes up about 40% of the iron found in meat. This is easily digestible. Non Heme Iron is what is in a vegan diet. It is not as easily digestible so a higher overall quantity of iron is needed in a vegan diet. Which should be no problem given the foods vegans normally eat is high in iron.
For 1 cup of cooked food:
Soybeans 8.8 mg
Lentils 6.6 mg
Lima beans 4.4 mg
Black beans 3.6 mg
Pinto beans 3.5 mg
Chickpeas 3.2 mg
Kidney beans 3.0 mg
Green beans 1.2 mg
