Difference between red wine vinegar and white wine vinegar?
I am making a dressing to go with a roast beef, the recipe says white wine vinegar but I have red wine vinegar.
Will the red taste awful with the rest of the dressing which, also includes dijon mustard, green peppercorns, lime and, olive oil?
Thank you to anybody who may help me.

it would be good… so don’t worry.
Probably stick to the recipe. See if your neighbor or someone has some you can use.
it will be just fine. whte wine vinegar can be a bit sweeter, but other than that theres no difference. besides the colour ofcourse. you can always add a littlu sugar to compensate for the taste.
white wine vinegar is vinegar made from white wine. red wine vin is made from red wine. the lime is weird in that recipe, and I would definitely sub the red wine vin for the white.
