Did you know these foods are NOT for animals?
In the Sept./Oct. issue of AARP, there’s a notice down on the bottom of page 98 which states: FOOD FRIGHT – “You probably know that chocolate, coffee and alcohol are bad for dogs and cats. But did you also know these common foods can make your pet sick?”
Dogs: avocados, macadamia nuts
Cats: grapes, onions
Turtles: spinach, rhubarb
Birds: avocados, apple seeds

Also: never give your dog raisins as it can cause renal failure.
I believe I already noted verbatum what the article stated about Chocolate and coffee.

Dogs – grapes
Thanks, funny tho my cat doesn’t eat people food. Not even if its meat or fish, so I don’t have that problem, but my in-laws feed everything to their dog. I will pass it on.
Yes – many human foods are dangerous to pets onions or plant bulbs are poisonous to dogs and are fatal
Onions, Garlic, & Related Root Vegetables are bad for both cats and dogs
Tomatoes, Green (raw Potatoes)and bad for cats
Stick to proper pets food and check with your vet if unsure on what to feed a pet
dog can’t eat chocolate too.
Onions aren’t good for dogs, either. Onions are toxic for dogs, especially for smaller dogs, such as pomeranians, chihuahuas, yorkshire terriers, maltese, and so forth. I read online that onions can cause something called Hemolytic Anemia, which destroys the dog’s red blood cells. Chocolate is bad for dogs, as well. A lot of people think, “Yes, of course! Dogs can eat chocolate. What bad can it do?” Well, a lot is what chocolate can do to a dog’s health! All chocolate can still make a dog sick, especially caffeine. It can raise a dog’s heart rate to beat abnormally…
Cats cannot eat baby food which is toxic to cats, dog food which causes malnutrition, macadamia nuts, mushrooms, onions, potatoes, raw eggs, raw FISH, and salt.
Thanks for sharing this info!
