Unsure about this one. I take it you haven’t had it before?

You’ve more than likely had corn syrup before since many many foods have it as an additive…one of the reasons Americans are so fat!!!!….I have never heard of an allergy to corn…what symptoms do you get?

Well, I’m allergic to corn too. But I can eat corn syrup, chips, and pop corn with no problems. I just can’t have the sweet corn (corn on the cob) or corn as a veggie.

you can probably eat it in small portions because it’s not whole corn, its diluted and sweetened and used as an additive.

It may b corn only. The other foods or syrup or a by product of. The body has a hard time processing corn I love corn but everytime I eat it I get violent stomach cramps and spend quality time n the toilet. Corn syrup n things like that I have no trouble with.

Corn syrup (Lily White) is made from glucose, water, salt and vanillin so go ahead and eat it. There is no corn in it. Karo Corn Syrup, on the other hand, is derived from corn so stay away from it.

Yes, it does. Skip anything containing corn, like corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, and corn oil. At least until you figure out the level and how acutely you are allergic to corn. You may be able to work some of that in, but I”d avoid it for the next 3-4 months.

BTW, the lick-em sticky stuff on teh back of traditional postage stamps is made from corn; buy the self-stick stamps.

Stuff like corn oil and corn flour, you should probably stay away from, but corn syrup doesn’t actually have corn in it. They put different ingredients into corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup and other stuff just to make it resemble the corn flavor.

If you want to be sure, do a little research, but this is my answer for you.
