Can I lose weight by eating potatoes at night?
Every night I slice three potatoes and fry them in some corn oil or canola oil and eat them with two eggs (without the yolk).
Is this healthy way to lose a little weight or, at the very least, not gain more weight?

no no no no no! Potatoes are NOT a good way to lose weight at all, especially frying them!!!
Haha thats a healthy way to gain weight. Ditch the potatoes, keep the eggs.

Wow. How old are you? Because you seem to lack basic calorie knowledge. Potatoes and eggs are the worst foods to eat in order to lose weight. Especially corn oil..
Eat a peice of fruit at night!
The last thing you want to do is eat high starch foods that sit in your gut. Starch turns into sugar which ultimately adds weight to your body if not burned off through exercise.
No, potatoes can make you gain weight because they are high in carbs and the oil makes it worse, and then you are having it at night, and not working it off. NO, it will all turn into fat.

so basically you think eating fried potatoes is a weight loss plan? You should really talk to the people at McDonalds about that..they have some experience in serving fried potatoes.
the worst time to eat is at night when your metabolism is slow…all those calories go straight into storage (fat)
Anything fried won’t help you, friend. Potatoes are packed full of carbs, so if you’re going to eat them, eat them in the morning so you can burn it off (carbs give you energy, and if you don’t use the energy, it turns into excess weight).
You can lose weight by eating HEALTHY foods when you’re hungry, STOPPING when you’re full, and incorporating exercise into your daily life.
It’s not a complicated thing to do. It’s just a lifestyle change that you have to stick to.

I would think frying anything would cause you to gain more weight. Boiling or baking without oil may be a healthier way to eat potatoes. Potatoes are full of carbohydrates which are complexed sugars, so eating potatoes would not really help you lose weight. Try eating celery sticks instead, since celery contains very little calories and causes you to burn more calories by masticating.
Eat a baked patotoe instead w/ other veggies like broccoli or grean beans.
