Can I get vegetable oil on my stick?
So I want to make a skill pad for off ice hockey training. I’m testing different things. If I apply vegetable oil (and smooth it into a thin layer) and stickhandle or shoot on it, is veggie oil bad for my stick (I have a wooden blade, wooden stick)?
How about non-stick spray? Like for cooking? I have this canola-oil based spray that is pretty much veggie oil just with a couple other things (lower on the ingredients list) and “propellant.”
Also what about waxing stick and tape, etc.

One comment a "Can I get vegetable oil on my stick?"
Veggie oil will not affect the stick in any bad way, except for the smell. lol but yes, it’s fine, don’t worry about it. My friend actually tried that and it worked fine.
