Can I add a sweetener to home maded Black Strap Molasses?
I found how to make BSM on this websit. I would like to know if I can add a sweetener to it with out lossing it’s nutrition value, Iron, calcium, etc.. Adding corn syrup, sweet syrup or regular sweet molasses, etc. So it can be used as a sweetener.

Adding corn syrup kind of defeats the purpose of being healthy with BSM. If you must have it sweetened use stevia or xylitol. It should be sweet enough as it is.
