Are these pinto beans okay to eat?
Here’s the deal, I’m making pinto beans, so I have them on the stove as of right now, but reading over the package I noticed it said “August 10th 08″ is this an experation date or something? Are these okay to eat? They’ve been unopened in my cupboard.
Yes, they are dried pinto beans. Not from a can.

they are fine, they are dried after all
If they were dried pinto beans, they’ll be good.
Uhm they are 5 months past the expiration date…the answer is obvious
They’re dry, they’re still good to eat.
they are fine. enjoy them.
That could be anything. dried beans will literally last for years, as long as they are not exposed to moisture. I have had some for more than 3 years and they work just fine.
