Are Sweet Potatoes/Yams okay to eat when on a healthy diet?
I’ve bought some dried sweet potatoes and I was wondering if it’s okay to eat them when I’m on a healthy diet. I’m not trying to lose weight but rather to decrease the fat around my stomach by eating well and exercising.

absolutely. The are actually one of the best foods you can eat. Lots of vitamins like Vit C and Vit A. Good and yummy.
Uh…not too many of them, but every now and then they are okay to eat.
sure they are fine just make sure you do not put 1lb of butter on them good luck
yes it is healthier than potatoes!
If you exercise regularly, then you can eat anything (even cakes and cookies are fine in limited quantities). So, sweet potatoes are natural product, enjoy them – I do!
Sure, but make try to stay away from the stuff in the cans & don’t load it up with butter & sugar. In addition to the various nutrients, they’re also an excellent form of complex carbohydrates (the good carbs).
They are a good sourse of minerals and vitamins, but one thing you have to watch out with when eating a yam or sweet potato, is the sugar content in them. A regular potato has less sugar in then the sweet.
Peace, live well and happy:;)
Yes, you can eat them, but in moderation. They have B vitimins that are good for you.
Sure, just watch the butter and sugar or syrup you add.
