Are pinto beans good for a guy who wants to get six pack abs?
Hi and i’m in a mission to obtain six pack abs. The reason I ask this is because I mostly eat pinto beans everday with a little bit of olive oil. My question is, is this good for a diet and do they contain any key vitamins that will help me in obtaining abs?

I don’t know about vitamins, but all beans are excellent for your health. Don’t let the “no carbs” freaks tell you differently. Pinto beans are very good for you.
Eat healthy foods high in carbs and then work out and get lots of sleep, keep you metabolism high and dont go for the huge weights, you want your body to be toned not sickly jacked.
Pinto beans alone will not give you that 6pack you desire. You will need more than that to sustain your health. A well balanced diet with lots of protein and some carbs is good and mix and with exercise and it should work. Of course your age and overall development will also play a role in obtaining the sixpack.
Look at the abs and determine if there may be a layer of fat that is covering the muscles and under the skin. If this is present then you can do all the sit-ups you want and they will never show.
Also depends on body type and metabolism and general physiology. But I would guarantee that a diet of Pinto Beans alone will hurt you in the long run.
The site below reviews workout routines specifically targeted at abs but also includes many diets. Agreed with above, pinto beans are not bad for you however a diet of “mostly” pinto beans is not balanced enough for a healthy body…Good luck!
