6 month old wont eat baby cereal?

She never ever took a liking to it. She just spits it out on my husband and I. She is nursed, I mix it with breast milk and she still will not take it! She doesn’t take a bottle with milk either, so I mixing it in is not an option. I bought the cereal mixed in with the fruits by beechnut, is that a good enough supplement? If not, any ideas on how to get her to take the cereal?
